It is our pleasure to announce that dr Piotr Rodziewicz is now an Arbitrator in the Online Arbitration Court.
Dr Piotr Rodziewicz is an advocate admitting and practising in Poland. He has over 8 years of significant professional experience concerning legal practise in law offices. He holds associate position, managing branch office in Wroclaw of the leading independent Polish law firm with its seat in Krakow. In his professional practice he advised banks and investment funds as well as an entrepreneurs running store chains and a bio components and chemistry production plants. He has extensive litigation experience in the field of civil and commercial disputes, in which the value of the subject of the dispute exceeded tens of millions of PLN. He holds PhD in law, speciality private international law. He has been employed as an assistant professor since November 2015 in the Chair of Civil Law and Private International Law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wroclaw. His scientific interests include private international law and international civil procedure, in particular institutions of the general part of private international law, law applicable to contracts as well as cross-border disputes resolution through ODR and arbitration. He is the author of over 40 scientific publications including one monograph and part of commentary to Brussels I bis regulation. He delivered papers at numerous honorable international conferences, including Brno, Rio de Janeiro, Vienna and Vilnius.
