Życiorys
I, Assistant-Professor Miras Daulenov, graduated from the Faculty of Law and Economics of the East Kazakhstan State University, named after S. Amanzholov, in 2004 with the qualification “Lawyer”. In 2006, after the defence of my thesis entitled “Responsibilities of States in the Context of Issues in the Implementation of International Law”, the East Kazakhstan State University, named after S. Amanzholov, awarded me a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence. In 2012, I defended the doctoral dissertation “Movement of Goods, Persons, Services and Capital in International Agreements of the European Union” and was awarded a Ph.D. in Law Degree in the University of Wrocław, Poland. In 2012, I took the position of the Chair of the International Law Department in KAZGUU University, and in 2015 was appointed to the position of the Director of the Academy of Legal and Economic Research, named after S. Zimanov (Vice-Rector of Research and Science), the structural division of KAZGUU University known as the first higher education institution specializing in law in Kazakhstan. KAZGUU University has trained many outstanding law specialists and is currently recognized as a highly reputable research and educational centre in the field of private and public law in Central Asia. Since 30 April 2015, I have been a recommended mediator for dispute resolution through mediation in the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of the Independent States (further - CIS). I am a member of the Advisory Council of the CIS Economic Court, the Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Advisory Council of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Executive Council of the Asian Society of International Law. In 2016, I was awarded the title “Lawyer of the Year” according to the decision of the Kazakhstan Bar Association. I am the author of several scholarly articles about issues about the interpretation and implementation of international agreements, legal personality in international law, liabilities in international law, institutional and substantive rights in the European Union, the legal system of the Eurasian Economic Union, and constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I am also a member of the Editorial Boards of the journals Wrocław Review of Law, Administration and Economics, the Folia Iuridica Universitatis Wratislaviensis and the journal “Law and State”.
